Meet Laurie

Laurie Kretchmar is a communications strategist and former business journalist (FORTUNE, The Wall Street Journal and founding editor in chief of Women.com Networks). 

She advises consultants, marketing professionals and executives on how to establish and amplify their brands.

A hands-on coach, Laurie is known for her detective skills, insights, passion for connecting people and, of course, her love of the so-called “bird app.”

Via her boutique consulting agencies, Up with Social and Content Marketing Place, Laurie guides thought leadership and social media for executives at companies including Applied Materials, Cisco, Dell, Malwarebytes, Samsung, SoFi and VISA. She advises social enterprise and nonprofit leaders. Laurie also speaks and acts as a moderator on webinars and at conferences worldwide. A graduate of Dartmouth College, she lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
